What if??

Culture formed by our ideology, Ideology formed ourselves and ourselves is who we are. We define ourselves to the lifestyle, our self-representation, groups we belong to, beliefs and values. Those things are influenced and tells us on what we should concerned about by the media which is important to us and to the people who sees our pictures, post and digital footages. Ideology tells us how we should be, how it is and how it should be. We follow everything media tell us, we do what media creates, we imitate the trends and most of all we create and gather followers to be fame to the public through the contents we are sharing in social media. We know that in today’s technology, in just one click we could become a viral sensation of the people, through media and like us ideology is also shaped by it.

Ideology is shape by media through the means of presenting and sharing facts while the news article reveals both sides of the story in order to give people a fair and unbiased story, so that the people constructively think what is true. Also, media persuade the audience who is watching or reading the magazine, television and the social media like Facebook and Instagram through the visuals that they are providing and the news or Information that they are giving. Media also shape the ideology through the messages that influenced us on what we should believe in and those messages that is much higher or dominant than others is the one who will be followed and be viewed by the people. We interviewed some people to tell their insights and how the video changes their perception to that specific Politician who is Atty. Larry Gadon. The thing we did to interview them is that we prepared video clips that will serve as evidence and example on how media shape our ideology through visuals like the video and how influencing and dominant the messages is in the media that is followed and viewed by the public , which is all about the Debate entitled Harapan. In that video, Atty. Gadon answered some questions that is based from his own opinions about some issues of our former President Ferdinand Marcos. Then, we gathered some respondents to give their own comments on how they were move and how it change their belief to that video that we had presented to them. After we interview our interviewee, we recap their comments on Atty. Larry Gadon and we concluded their criticism in that video we presented to them.

We concluded that visuals really influence audience and change a lot their perceptions and belief, but some are not because of the different ways we are raise in, that’s why we are some easily to be persuaded to believe in and some are not. Media really tells us what is trending today and we some sort followed it. Like the video we presented it changes the perceptions of the other people and strengthen their beliefs on that particular person. Some just respected the different views of the people and opened their minds to that event or to the regime of Marcos. All the things we have now and how we act is some sort influence by the media and became part of our daily routine.

  WakeiTalk is a group blog led by Romel Rodriguez, Johia Krysta Faye Juanillas, Josie Camatis and Juan Miguel Lojo. We have three keys that will be instrumental in our blog success. First is the creation of good quality content and context that will satisfy our “WAKERS” in every time we post. Second is we ensure sufficient visibility and the last one is we will always strive to be the best and having a very reliable content and context that will help our “WAKERS” to use in their daily life. We call our viewers as “WAKERS” because we want them to be awake, alive and enthusiastic even our topics are not much relateable but I would say you will entertained from end to beginning and still can relate on it.

  We may have our own perspectives, identity and opinion but despite all the differences we can be as one In ONE goal which is waking you all up and listen to what we are talking about, not just only a talk but a talk that gets you all out of the box in being ignorant through our thoughts, opinion, suggestion and reaction we will serve happily and whole heartedly our all WAKERS.   “Be where you wanna be. Be should be”. I am Romel V. Rodriguez a 19 years old originally from Brgy. Manggalang 1, Sariaya, Quezon But I moved to Lipa City, Batangas to Continue my studies as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Student at STI College Lipa Inc. I can say that I am a type of person who can handle my life on my own. At the age of 9 he’s mother was passed away which waking me up to stand on my own. By the way I cannot consider myself as straight but not a gay as well maybe I still searching who and what I am. I’m a type of person who can treat you right and with all respect as long as you respect and accept who I am.             Hi, everyone my name is Johia Krysta Faye Fadrigo Juanillas and I am a Bachelor of Arts in Communication student at STI College Lipa. My name Johia comes from the acronym of a church in Cubao, Jesus Our Hope International Assembly (JOHIA) while my name Krysta comes from the word Christ and Crystal . Then, my  name Faye  derived from the word Faith to God. I am born in Quezon City, Metro Manila and right now we live in Lipa City, Batangas. I have one(1) brother and one (1) sister in their 9th grade in a public school of Lipa. I love to do photography and doing arts like drawing. I also love to declaim different pieces of declamation. I work as a sales personnel in P. A Properties and sold 3 units in my first 2 months. I also, work as a seller of gourmet tuyo in my neighbourhood and friends. Right now, I still completing my course and studying well. And  I am thanking God for his guidance to me and my family.

          My name is Josie Espiritu Camatis, I’m 18 years old and i live in Tangob, Padre Garcia, Batangas. We are 8 siglings, 4boys and 4 girls. Our names is start from letter J. I am first year college from STI lipa currently studying Bachelor of arts and communication. My hobbies are drawing, sketch or painting, and Singing or listening a music. I like to travel. Before more on my friends are boys. But when i transfer a school more on my friends now that always with me is girls. I love all of my friends.             My name is Juan Miguel G. Lojo. I live in Sta. Cruz Pangao Lipa City Batangas.
